    A huge crowd mingles with dozens of vendors during the "School-A-Palooza" event hosted by Houston School District last Thursday afternoon in Hiett Gymnasium. There were a wide range of items available for free, along with games, music and food. Fifty community vendors and about 500 students attended — about half of the student body. About $11,000 was raised for student school supplies.
